When
On 12/05/2021 16:03:34 (CEST) our PE router in AMS experienced a software crash.
Impact
- Customers in our DCv3 locations (DEL (recently upgraded) and OUM) location have remained online as traffic was immediately diverted away from the issue.
- Customers in legacy locations (DCD and DCT) may (depending on configuration) have experienced a service interruption of 5 minutes with reduced connectivity for up to 25 minutes.
Improvements
In order to prevent this from recurring, extra care will be taken while applying new configuration. New configuration will be tested extensively and checked before being applied to production.
